I’m at my breaking point and need to know if I’m alone. American Coradius has been calling me nonstop about an old PayPal Credit balance. It’s not just the volume of calls; it’s the way they talk to me. They’ve been aggressive and just plain rude on the phone.
The weirdest part is when I tried to dispute the amount over the phone; the guy told me I couldn’t do that and that I had to send something in writing. It felt like a scare tactic. I’ve also gotten a super confusing settlement letter. It looked like they were offering a deal, but it also said I would still owe a remaining balance afterward. It made no sense.
I’m tired of dreading my phone ringing. I know they’re a real company, but this feels like harassment. Has anyone else been through this with them? What did you do to make it stop?
